I have read to various audiences, including Women's Institutes and other
ladies' groups. I have also done some after dinner speaking.
I am available for similar functions and
would consider cabaret performances.
My normal fee is £60 + expenses for an hour's recital.
Some of my poetry is aimed at
youngsters - with the intention of inspiring them to keep on the right
track and I am happy to have discussion sessions with primary school
children, talking to them about my life and the fact that I found
school hard myself regarding bullying and studies. I was also
painfully shy and my mother was poorly, leading to further anxiety.
But I loved English and my poetry is the result. I am open to
offers regarding any charge for these sessions.
